For my senior art show, I used sculpture and photography to create abstractions of the forms that I saw in nature. Several moments in time were compressed to create a static image that can never be experienced naturally.
These works focus on penguins. Groupings of paths relate to natural groupings of penguins. By showing the birds in this manner, I was able to emphasize the beauty and grace these animals possess in the water that is only possible when viewing them in time.
